Livlymaps is a location-based search engine. Ask any question about the world in natural language and the app turns it into pins, areas, paths, or heatmaps on a globe — from a single street address to a whole continent. You can save results to private or shared maps and collaborate with others.
Traditional map apps answer “where is this place?” Livlymaps starts where they end — with meaning, distribution, history, and the texture of a place.
- Ask in plain language about anything earth-bound, in any language.
- Results come back as the right map type for the question — pins, areas, paths, or heatmaps.
- Save what you find to private maps, or share and collaborate publicly.
Features & functionality
Anything earth-bound. For example:
- “Best ramen on this street”
- “Where do blue whales live?”
- “Roman Empire at its peak”
- “Active volcanoes around the Pacific”
- “UNESCO sites in Europe”
The app chooses the right map representation automatically.
Livlymaps uses AI together with web sources and map providers. Results are usually accurate, but AI can be wrong or incomplete. Always verify important information — especially safety, navigation, or time-sensitive details — before relying on it.
Livlymaps has two map types — you create each through its own flow:
- Private maps are visible only to you and the people you invite. You start one from the Create private map screen.
- Public maps are discoverable by other users. You start one from the Create public map screen.
You can manage members and settings at any time after the map is created.
Location is used to centre the map and power local searches. Camera and photos are used only when you attach media to a map or place. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
Pricing & subscriptions
Livlymaps is free to download. The free tier includes a small number of daily queries so you can try the app. Paid plans unlock more queries, larger maps, and advanced features. All paid plans are monthly auto-renewable subscriptions billed through your Apple ID. See current pricing inside the app on the Subscription screen.
- Subscriptions are auto-renewable and billed through your Apple ID.
- Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Yes. You can cancel any time, and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Select Livlymaps and tap Cancel Subscription.
We don’t offer refunds on subscriptions. We’re transparent about what’s included before you subscribe, and you can cancel at any time to stop future charges — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Subscriptions are processed by Apple, so any refund requests go through Apple’s standard process.
Open the app and go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple ID that bought the subscription.
Technical & support
Livlymaps is currently available on iPhone (iOS) only. Android and iPad support are on the roadmap, no firm release date yet.
Yes. All Livlymaps features require an internet connection. Queries call AI services and search the web in real time, and your maps, places, and account data are stored securely in the cloud (Firestore + our backend). The app doesn’t have an offline mode.
No. Sign in with the same account on your new iPhone and your maps and subscription come with you. If your subscription doesn’t appear immediately, tap Restore Purchases in the app on the new device.
You can permanently delete your Livlymaps account at any time from inside the app:
- Open Livlymaps and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Account Settings.
- Tap Account management.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deletion removes your profile, your private maps, and your personal data. Content you contributed to shared maps may remain in those maps. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in iOS Settings → Subscriptions — deleting the account does not cancel the Apple subscription automatically.
If you can’t access the app, email support@livlymaps.com from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you.
